WYANNE: I know to Be True
Wyanne, "After my 2013 Stage IV diagnosis of cancer, the world lit up around me. Colors, vibrancy and shapes of ordinary things vibrated with an energy I had never noticed before. I began to paint that energy abstractly with a new passion healing my soul and helping beat cancer. During these trying times with Covid, and unsettling news around the world, I set out to create a body of work that would perhaps do the same for the viewer. Vibrant soak stained paintings with multiple mediums show abstract glimpses of our world around us. Those things we see and those we can only feel. My work is based on what "I know to be True". Color, passion, creativity, energy, gratitude and most of all love, all things we sometimes take for granted. I believe in their healing."
